Terms of Sale

1. The product

The Born Element Personal Report (the "Report") is a digital document generated from the date of birth you provide. The Report describes the element assigned to that date within the Born Element framework, the state in which that element is running, and a set of observations and supportive practices related to that element and state. The Report is delivered electronically, typically within one minute of successful payment, via email and via a private link hosted at bornelement.com.

2. Price and taxes

The current price of the Report is USD $19.9 per order. Prices are displayed at checkout. Any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST will be calculated and disclosed at or before the moment of payment, where required by law. The total amount you are asked to authorize is the total amount that will be charged.

3. Payment processor

Payment is processed by PayPal. By completing checkout you also agree to PayPal's own user agreement. Born Element does not receive or store your payment credentials. Born Element retains only a reference to the transaction (order ID, capture ID, amount, currency, timestamp) for fulfillment and refund processing.

4. Delivery

The Report is delivered to the email address you provide at checkout. Delivery is typically immediate; if you have not received the email within 10 minutes of a successful payment, please check your spam folder and then contact hello@bornelement.com. The report is also accessible at a private URL communicated in the delivery email.

5. Refunds

Full refunds are available within fourteen (14) calendar days of purchase, for any reason. See our Refund Policy for the process and the applicable cut-offs. Refunds are issued to the original PayPal account; the refund typically appears on your statement within five to ten business days.

Access to the digital report ends once a refund is elected. After refund processing, the report URL returns a notice indicating the order has been refunded and is no longer readable. This is standard for refunded digital deliverables — it protects the integrity of the refund process for both parties.

6. Permitted use

The Report is sold for the personal, non-commercial use of the named purchaser. You may save, print, and share excerpts privately; you may not redistribute the Report in full, resell it, or use it to create derivative products. The content of the Report (including its text, structure, and supporting interpretations) remains the intellectual property of Born Element and is licensed to you for personal use only.

7. Nature of the information

The Report is offered for reflective and educational purposes. It is not medical advice, psychological advice, financial advice, or legal advice. It is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. The Born Element framework reflects a traditional body of thought interpreted by the author; it is offered as a lens, not a diagnosis.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Born Element's total liability to you arising out of or related to the sale of a Report shall not exceed the amount you paid for that Report. Born Element is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any change will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date. The terms that apply to your purchase are the terms in effect on the date you placed the order.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any claim arising from the sale of a Report shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in California.
